What the labels mean
Participation is open; authority is scoped
Anyone may suggest a correction or source. Research-contributor, expert, reviewer, editor, and advisory labels require the checks appropriate to that role. A degree or job title does not create unlimited expertise, and an institutional affiliation does not imply that the institution endorses this project.
Independence
No contributor approves their own scientific claim
Scientific authorship, independent review, and final publication are separate recorded decisions. Conflicts, limitations, disagreement, and later corrections remain part of the public evidence trail.
